Three Ways to Introduce Yourself to Strangers

If you’re self-employed and struggle to explain what you do, here are three alternative ways to introduce yourself:

  1. Share a question you explore through your work

  2. Share a current project you’re excited about

  3. Share a belief that underpins your work

Few introductions require an elevator pitch. Instead, use it as an opportunity to start a conversation you’d enjoy having.
