Do I Need a Website for My Business?

Close up photo or a bright red valentine typwriter with the text "Do I need a website?" overtop.

Maybe! Maybe not.

A website is not a vital part of having a business. A business consists of:

  • An offer

  • A customer

  • A bridge between the two (marketing/sales)

Many people use a website as that marketing/sales bridge, but you don’t have to.

  • Is there a way for people to discover your business?

  • Is there a process for them to discern if your product/service is right for them?

  • Is there a way for them to buy?

As long as you’ve got those three stages of the marketing-to-sales bridge covered, you’ve got yourself a business.

If you’re going to have a website, do it because you’ve decided it’s a great way to build out one or all of those stages of the marketing-to-sales bridge.
